Katılımcılara, şöhreti Bergama’nın sınırlarını aşmış olan Kız Bergama Yağcıbedir Halısı’nın renk ve özellikleri ile öyküsüne ilişkin bilgi aktarımında bulunulacak ve aynı zamanda dokuma atölyesi gerçekleştirilecektir. Katılımcılar kullanılan renklerin nasıl elde edildiğini, motiflerin geçmişini ve anlamları ile birlikte halı dokumaya dair temel becerileri öğrenme şansı bulacaktır.

Fatma Çelik 1967 Manisa Demirci doğumlu. Çocukluğundan bu yana halı ve kilim dokumakta, halı-kilim dokumayı bir sevda olarak görmektedir. Bergama’da usta öğreticilik yapmaktadır.

Participants will be informed about the colors, characteristics and story of the “Maiden Bergama Yağcıbedir Carpet,” whose fame has exceeded the borders of Bergama. A weaving workshop will also be held. Participants will have the chance to learn how the colors are obtained, the history of the motifs and their meanings, as well as the basic skills of carpet weaving.

Fatma Çelik was born in 1967 in Demirci, Manisa. She has been weaving carpets and rugs since her childhood, and she sees weaving carpets and rugs as her passion. She is a master instructor for carpet weaving in Bergama.
