Yazarın, bir oyun fikri oluşturmasından yazıya dökmesine kadarki tasarım süreçlerinin anlatılacağı atölyede, çeşitli egzersizlerle yazanın engellerini aşma yöntemleri tartışılacak, pratiğe dökülecek ve bir sahne metni üretilecek. 

Murat Mahmutyazıcıoğlu Marmara Üniversitesi GSF İç Mimarlık Bölümü’nü bitirdi. Studio Oyuncuları’nda oyunculuk eğitimi aldı. Kadir Has Üniversitesi Film ve Drama Bölümü’nde yüksek lisans yaptı. Studio Oyuncuları, İkincikat, Yanetki Tiyatrosu gibi birçok ekipte oyunculuk yaptı. İlk sahnelenen oyunu Şekersiz’i Yanetki Tiyatrosu’nda yönetti ve oyuncu kadrosunda yer aldı (2013).

Ağustos 2016’da Bam İstanbul’u kurdu. Sen İstanbul’dan Daha Güzelsin oyunuyla 2016-2017 sezonunda Afife Ödülleri’inde ve Tiyatro Eleştirmenleri Birliği Ödülleri’nde yılın yerli oyun yazarı seçildi.

In this workshop, the author’s design processes from creating a play idea to fully writing it will be explained, methods of overcoming writer’s block will be discussed with various exercises, put into practice and a stage text will be produced.

Murat Mahmutyazıcıoğlu graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Interior Architecture. He studied acting at Studio Oyuncuları. He got his master’s degree from Kadir Has University Film and Drama Department. He acted in many teams such as Studio Oyuncuları, İkincikat, and Yanetki Theatre. He directed his first staged play, Şekersiz, at the Yanetki Theater and took part in the cast (2013).

He founded Bam Istanbul in August 2016. With his play “You Are More Beautiful than Istanbul” he was selected as the local playwright of the year at the Afife Awards and Theatre Critics Association Awards in the 2016-2017 season.
