It was an example of an innovative mass theatre with the motto &#8216;Every space is an open stage.\u2019 It was an alternative environment especially where visual works were created with a site-specific and collective synergy. The production of local knowledge, cultural values and possibilities with a universal view transformed both the participating artists and the local people. We will talk about the Assos Performing Arts festival with the actual participants of the festival, which still has inspiring and original features, despite the fact that a quarter of a century has passed since it was held.
