Antik Pergamon kentinde inşa edilmiş dört tiyatro yapısı hakkında bilgi verirken, antik çağda tiyatro yapılarının ortaya çıkışına, gelişimine, mimarisine ve kullanımına değineceğiz. 

Antik Pergamon kentinin ilk tiyatrosu olan, Kale Tepesi’nde (Akropol’de) inşa edilen tiyatronun düzlükten görünümünü izleyerek hakkında bilgi edineceğiz. Ardından Roma imparatorluk döneminde aşağı kentte inşa edilmiş olan iki tiyatro yapısını göreceğiz ve yürüyüşümüzü sağlık tanrısı Asklepios’a adanmış antik çağın en önemli sağlık merkezlerinden biri olan Pergamon Asklepionu’ndaki tiyatroda tamamlayacağız.

Bülent Türkmen, 2012’de Bergama Belediyesi UNESCO Dünya Mirası Birimi’nde arkeolog olarak çalışmaya başlamış, Bergama’nın UNESCO Dünya Mirası Adaylık Dosyası’nın ve Bergama Alan Yönetim Planı’nın hazırlanmasında çalışmıştır.

We will be informed about four ancient theatres of ancient Pergamon. While talking about the theatres of Pergamon, we will touch on the emergence, development, architecture and use of theatre structures in ancient times.

We will see the ancient theatre, built on Kale Hill (Acropolis) from the plain and be informed. Afterwards, we will see two theatrical structures built in the lower city during the Roman period, and we will finish our tour at the theatre in the Pergamon Asklepion, one of the most important health centers of antiquity, dedicated to Asclepius, the God of Health.

The coordinator Bülent Türkmen started to work in 2012 as an archaeologist at the UNESCO World Heritage Unit of Bergama Municipality and took part in the preparation of Bergama’s UNESCO World Heritage Candidacy File and Bergama Site Management Plan.
